WaterAid by H&M aka show me some tummy...

Door Tiany op 31/05/12

I'm not your average size 36. I have curves, my tummy has reached the proportions of a whale twice and I have this JLo booty that some of you envy and I tend to find XL... but hey I still love my God given body, including all it's imperfections (I'm short legged too) and I embrace the healthy side of it in many ways. After all it has given me 2 amazing little mini me's, so really you won't hear me whine or bitch about it.

I try to eat healthy, indulge into some chocolate every once in a while and allow myself the pleasures of a cocktail.... however I do exercise, I'm into pilates, yoga and bikram, I'm not the excessive type as I do have a day job and tend to be dead tired by night... but hey, at least I try!

So all of a sudden this trend of baring some naked tummy comes along and reigns all over the catwalks. I shrieked at the first sight of it and told myself this would be one trend I'd have to skip, as in one bridge too far for me. That promise to myself lasted about 4 months and it took the WaterAid collection to persuade me to give the 'belly baring hype' a try.

So here it is and the trick is to just feel self confident in it and have a photographer that kind of makes you feel like a hot mama during the shooting of it... it also helps if you take a high waist skirt and limit the belly exposure to a stripe of let's say 5 cm's. Good news though... your legs look longer and you still can wear the body shaping underwear... oh yes, that is another Kirilove confession, a total killer in the bedroom but very efficient for a 30 plusser like moi ;)

Just in case you're not totally digging this outfit, which actually really is perfect during hot summery days.... then please at least check the mini me versions of what the WaterAid Collection by H&M has come along with... it's exquisite and totally adorable and it's all available at H&M Brussels and Antwerp. Hope you'll enjoy some of my personal snaps of the Eloise & Yelena sporting these cute amazing styles...

In case you're wondering, yes! Part of the revenues will be used to help produce sustainable water resources in countries that are in need of water... so it's fashion with a heart, you should be buying the entire collection as we speak!

WaterAid hits stores today, so get it while it's hot!
