Kirilove gone Peplum

Let's just kick off with 2012 as the Kirilove goes experimental year with some outfit photography straight from our Belmodo HQ bathroom, which is quite arty as you can see and not that bad at all when pouring cats and dogs...

Over and out with the further promotion of our infrastructure, time to start talking about la Kirilove gone peplum case. So a peplum top refers to a kind of short overskirt attached to a fitted jacket, the term dates back to the 19th century. Peplum had a big revival during the 1940's as it became very popular amongst women's design and now it's back for good. And I must admit I'm ravished, as peplum has evolved into cute little tops that not only accentuate the waist but also hide a small excess of hips.   

You'll be seeing a lot of peplum on me as I'm pretty much crazy about the trend, combined with pants, pencil skirts, jeans and so much more... to be continued.

In case you were wondering... yes, my belt kind of flipped on this picture and yes I do have a hidden affection for Scarlett O'Hara, aight!
