On a Parisian trip to pretty make-up & lovely fragrances

I've been travelling back and forth to Paris the past few weeks. It just seems that each and every entire brand has decided to give some kind of presentation in the beautiful city of lights.

Trust me, I'm totally a happy person, you will not hear me complain as I love Paris and the pretty locations we often get invited to. However, my bank account seems to have some complaints lately... as I tend to indulge in all kinds of very pretty buys... Therefor this note to self: must cut Visa in two! As I'm due to visit Paris some more in the next couple of weeks.

So, I got invited to the launch party of the brand new Diesel frangrance, which will hit stores somewhere around September. Did I have fun? I had a blast of a time, but managed to forget my camera so I'll try to get to you with the help of some Iphone pics and some very pretty images I found on leblogdebetty.com.

Venue of the event was the magical Manège de Grand Palais, dresscode: rock chic and on the list of invited people: a bunch of journalists and massive amounts of pretty people. Combine that with delicious and kind of wicked drinks, original food bites and some wonderful musical vibes by great bands as Brigitte en Ebony Bones and you've got yourself one heck of a Diesel Launch Party...

And what about the fragrance? Let's just say it is very addctive and bottled in a very pretty purple heart shaped kind of bottle. I haven't figured out what the scent is all about, but it definitely will suit your rock-chic-living-on-a-pretty-edge attitude.

The day after the Diesel party (and some Alkazeltser later) I ended up at the presentation of the YSL fall/winter make-up collection. The colours introduced were just amazing and certainly the way of presentation... picture this: a kind of tropical garden filled with amazing flowers and the hypnotic sound of hummingbirds.
